Question: Need help finding travel agent & Best deal on CRUISE? DO THEY HAVE CRUISES FROM THE U.S TO EUROPE? ALSO, WHERE CAN I GET THE ABSOLUTE BEST DEAL ON CRUISE?
Answer: Yes they have cruises from the US to Europe. Most of them are during the Spring and last from 10-20 days. As a cruise specialist I can help you get the best prices for a trans-Atlantic cruise, which is often the cheapest way to see Europe.
Question: Cruise Ship Carnival Splendor? I found a great deal on a cruise to Europe in June 2008 on the Splendor and am seriously thinking of booking it. My Princess captains circle membership will also count towards the booking on Carnival. My question is, I know it is a semi-new ship, but was wondering if anyone has had the chance to sail on her yet, or has heard anything about her yet? I've already looked at the website and she looks like a neat ship. Just looking for first hand experiences. Thanks!
Answer: Carnival Splendor is looking like a unique looking ship and I do hope to give it a try when it is finally finished, it's maiden voyage is in June of 2008
Question: Summer Vacation: Cruise Help? I never been on a cruise before, and this summer I am maybe going to a cruise to Europe or the Bahamas for my 15th birthday. Also, I am planning to go in June. Does anyone know good websites that offer affordable deals? Any good things to know about a cruise? Anyone like to share their cruise experience?
Thanks! =]
Answer: Since you're 15, I would suggest going on Carnival or Norwegian Cruise Line. I prefer Norwegian myself more and I am 14. It's a really fun cruise line, and they really do try to please everyone! As for rates, I would go to

Happy Cruising. (:
Question: Can you leave a cruise early without breaking a law? I have an itinerary I'd like to do this summer in Europe, but the only exact match has three extra stops after I want to get off (for example, I want to go from Rome to Venice - which is 7 days - but the cruise is actually 10 days and has three stops after Venice way in the wrong direction from my travel path).
I don't care about the money so much - I am getting a good deal on the cruise. The cruise company won't book a partial itinerary. If I leave the ship early, can they penalize me? Are there laws against it or does the cruise fine you? What if you claimed to be unhappy? It's not like they can hold you hostage, right? Any advice greatly appreciated.
Answer: Its been my understanding that on some cruise lines you can arrange to leave the ship early and do a partial cruise even though you pay for a full one. I know that Royal Caribbean has a form that you can sign and make arrangement well before the cruise to have a partial cruise. Look at this form on their web site: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/en...
Celebrity Cruise line's web site also has some references to partial cruises, but not a full explanation of how it works.
As far as leaving, I think its within your rights to say you want to leave but I think you need to arrange it and not just disappear. People leave ships in route all of the time when they get sick, and performers meet the ship and/or leave early. On one cruise we did the Captain left and went on vacation and a different Captain took over. I have been on other cruises when people got sick and left. I think you just need to talk to the right persons at the cruise line about this.
Here's what's in the Princess's passenger contract about leaving the ship:
" UNAUTHORIZED STOPOVER OR DISEMBARKATION.
Unauthorized stopover or disembarkation or failure to make any sailing of the ship at any port shall be at Your sole risk and expense, You may be denied subsequent boarding, and You will not be entitled to any refund, payment or other compensation. "
Question: Tom Cruise vs. Paramount Pictures? Whose side are you on? Last week Paramount Pictures dropped Tom Cruise and didn't renew their contract. Do you think that was a big mistake? Or do you think his interview with Matt Lauer last year on Post-Partum Stress Disorder and battle with Brooke Shields, his jumping on the couch on Oprah, and the watergun incident when promoting MI3 in Europe with the press, cost him the deal? Half of Hollywood are with him while the rest agrees with Paramount. Do you agree with Paramount or with Tom, when his production company decided to end the deal before they dropped him?
Answer: Paramount. A corporation has a right to hire and fire whoever they want. I suspect they are tired of him shoving Scientology down the throats of people on the set and using his movie promotions to promote Scientology.
The big reason is the bottom line. It is all about the green backs. If someone does not make the money they want or is a risk for money they want out. It is not worth the risk. Tom is down on approval ratings. Other actors do not have the problems he does they just come in and act. Tom could have grown old gracefully, but instead he chose to be shoved out. Many people want to act and they do not bring an agenda with them. Paramount can hire another actor easily who will just do the job and not cause a public relations nightmare. They can just make their money. It is all about money they really do not care beyond that, but if other stars refuse to work in an environment with one star having a pushy Scientology clan that could cause a problem.
There will be plenty of other people in line to make movies. It was a good decision.
It will be nice to have misinformation off the TV and a nation of compassion and tollerance. Booke did not kill her baby like Andrea Yates because she got proper help. It was very kind to share her story to help others. What does Tom want more dead babies and children? I sure do not want that to happen. Medications save lifes. Prevention is the key. People forget what this is all about.
