Discount Cruise Vacations
Question: Vacations to go.com-discount for seniors, is it true or do you end up rowing the boat? Vactions to go.com offer wonderful sounding cruises on the leading cruise lines for seniors over 55 with great discounts. Is ther a catch to this or do you really get a nice cruise and save money.
Answer: You can get a deal. My mom just retired and did some cruises. Yes, she is over 55 and can get deals I can't. Also you can't get someone over 55 to book your cruise for the deal. They must travel with you.
Question: Which mystery shopping organizations are on the level and which ones should I avoid? I am only interested in being paid for my services. I do not want to join a secret club, or receive discount coupons for cruises, vacations, or timeshares I will not take. I could care less if I have a star that is bronze, silver or platinum. Know what I mean? I just want to walk in, do my thing, report it, get paid. Same with surveys online or off. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia so i don't do well on my feet for over half an hour.
Answer: i've used this one
http://www.secretshopper.com/
but it is not profitable--basically they reinburse you for what you spend--and you only get a few dollars extra---
and there are strict time frames which are hard to adhere to when you have FMS
Question: Vacation to go.com. Discount rates for seniors.? Vacations to go.com offer great sounding cruises with leading cruise lines for seniors over 55. Are they really cheaper and do you get as good a cruise?
Answer: Yes! Same exact cruise, but discounted for the older passengers! However, I would probably not book with Vacationstogo.com, as their prices aren't nearly as good. Either book with the cruise line itself, or use the agency I use, which is very reliable and gives me great rates. They are called The Cruise Line Ltd. Their website is www.beatanycruiseprice.com
Question: "Undeliverable mail"? The email I sent to my travel agent bounced back to me, saying, "User mailbox exceeds allowed size."
What does this mean??
What do I do??
I have to get in touch with him asap to cancel my vacation which I'm scheduled to leave on MONDAY!!!! (They don't work weekends!!!) (Its Vacations To Go, the discount cruises.) Please help!
Thank you.
Answer: Look at the headers, usually Show all Headers does this. In the lower right hand corner is Show all .
That can be a bit confusing, but it shows you where the email originates from and where it ends up at.
http://www.uic.edu/depts/accc/newsletter/adn29/headers.html
That one explains it good.
Just sign onto an account like the one your ISP gave you, somename@yourisp.com
Or use Gmail or some other account, this is good because sometimes sites go down or go under heavy revamps and can get fowled up for a while.
In this instance, sign up for gmail. is free, is easy and is a lot less on adverts, but it uses bots. so does every other e.mail thing.
Might try calling them.
If user mailbox exceeds X size, then just send a simple Composure, Hello, I have an agreement that I need cancelled with you,
some ID#
some acct #
yourname
If you already paid, good luck.
If you have not paid, stop payment and do not allow withdrawl from them.
Question: Great Vacation Destinations? My mom got talked into purchasing a "discounted vacation" over the phone through a company called Great Vacation Destinations. The trip is a few days in Orlando, FL and then a couple days on a cruise to the Bahamas, followed by a couple more days in Ft Lauderdale. The catch is that you have to go to a timeshare presentation for BlueGreen timeshares. And there are bonus vacations that you can take to Las Vegas and Cancun etc later on.
She now regrets the decision to buy, but has already shelled out a good chunk of money which I don't think she can get back, so we are going to go check it out. I have heard lots of people's opinions that all these types of offers are scams, and I would tend to give the same opinion, but is there anyone out there that has actually gone on this vacation with this company and could report on their experiences and/or offer any advice to ensure that the trip is at least a success, even if it's not the great deal that they sell you on over the phone. Thanks!
Answer: Ok. DONT GO!!!!!! GET YOUR MONEY BACK no matter what!!!!!! call them none stop!!!!!
I have been there and it was a waste of money and time. Trust me it is not worth your money. Everyone that took that trip was busy complaining to them. When i went they did'nt even tell us about the presentation. It's a big scam in ordr to sell people a vacation property. Get your refund!!! tell them that you were not told complete honest details about the trip therefore you request a refund. Ask for their managers dont give in.
You do not want to waste your hard earned money for these corporate scammers.
P.S
They contacted me a second time and when i refused the price which was close to $2,000 went down to about $150 dollars!!!!!!!
can you belive that! I am not kidding. I was a victim and I just want to help.
But if they do go down to such low price it's not too bad. So call and make them lower the price at least. good luck.
Question: How Do I Get Discounted Cruises? I heard on Showbiz Tonight how people are going online and getting discounted cruises for no more than a few hundred dollars, with everything included. How is the world do I find such online deaks (I have searched and found nothing). Can anyone tell me where these people search to find these fabulous discounted prices on cruises. I'm stumped as to exactly how to book a vacation online. I just dont wanna go to a scam site and get ripped off, I am afraid of something like that happening to me. Answer: Vacations to go is a great sight for some of the best prices around. I booked my last cruise with them. Just one note, be very careful for any cruise that is less then $100 a day. I know cruise lines are now offering great deals, but if it is much less then this amount, it might be a scam.
Question: I'm 19 and going to Disney for the first time in 13 years, its not my first choice in vacations but? my friend works for the parks and I am going to go see her and chill for a weekend. I am getting pretty exicted. Its changed a lot since I was litte. My friend gets awesome hotel rates and discounts. Since we're both 19 what is something fun at night we can do. How safe is the park at night? How busy is it in April? I'm pumped for epcot since I am a total culture nerd. And I am totally fine with exploring the other parks. But what else is there to do? I go on lots of cruises so I am used to being out and about, doing a million things in one day, but i still find it relaxing and I like fast pace. Is disney like that or will I need to find more stuff to do. I'm easily amused so I'll try anything. lol. Thank you!!
Answer: You will LOVE Disney. There is so much to do there is no way for you to get everything done and seen in a weekend, but you can give it a good try! You will not have to do anything else for the weekend. I would suggest giving the other parks a try, not just Epcot. The Magic Kingdom brings out the kid in everyone with all of the famous rides and things to see and do. Try to hit the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, you would think that Johnny Depp himself has entered the ride the animatronics are that good.
The Disney Studios are also fun. The Indiana Jones stunt show and Extreme Stunt show are two favorties, plus they have Star Tours, The Great Movie ride, and two of the best rides in ALL of Disney, the Tower of Terror and the Aerosmith Rock 'N' Roller coaster. Don't miss these.
There is so much to see and do you can't possibly list it all here. I have a couple of websites for you to check out to give you some ideas. First, check out the WDW website. There are descriptions of each and every show, ride, parade and attraction in the whole resort. Next, go to the disboards. The disboards is a message board website that you can get a ton of info from, including resort reviews, restaurant reviews, strategies for visiting the parks, tips and tricks and much more. You will love the site, I go on it frequently and learn something new all the time.
I hope this helps, have a great trip!!
