Hotel Packages For Hawaii
Question: should i wait when buying tickets/hotel package to las vegas from hawaii? ok i'm going to vegas for the like 4th time and last year i stayed at a free upgraded room at the manadalay bay hotel for only $600 (including flight from honolulu), in late april i checked the package price for a standard room and flight-and it's $781! and it sells out daily! omg should i wait till may or june to book my vegas trip on sept 24-29th? or do you guys think the prices will only go up? HELP! i checked all the prices online and even looked at the separate prices of flights and hotel rooms...
Answer: They usually don't give promotions that far in advance. They give the promotions at about 30 days before. The thing is that time of the year is the busy period for Vegas. The weather is perfect here at that time. Hard to tell if they are going to drop the prices then. Also that includes a weekend which are still busy here.
Question: Need some advice on my wedding ... ? Hello! My fiancé and I are planning a May 29th (a Friday) wedding. To start things off, we are a pretty laid back couple. We don't need to book a hall or anything because we plan on having the reception at his stepfather's farm. The problem is the ceremony site. We both like Squire's Castle, which is a nice "unfinished" castle in the Metroparks near Cleveland. Here are quite a few pictures of it:
http://www.deadohio.com/SquiresCastle.htm
Problem is, we live about an hour to an hour and a half away. But a positive is that a lot of my family only lives about 20 minutes away and Squire's Castle is on the way from the Castle to our reception anyway. My problem is this:
Is it too much hassle to drive from our house to the ceremony site and back again in one day? That could be 3 hours lost on the day of the wedding. I still need to get my hair done, and my dress is really poofy and would be uncomfortable to sit on. An alternative is getting a hotel room the night before for anyone who would want to, but that's extra money (and we just spent $2000 on a flight+hotel package to Hawaii!).
So I guess I'm asking if anyone has pulled off something similar to this and not been stressed out by all the driving. Thanks!!!
*sweat beads*
Answer: While I really like the ceremony location, it might be a logistical nightmare on the day of your wedding. It looks like you're going to need to rent/buy decorations and chairs for the ceremony. Is there any place at the farm where you could have the ceremony? I'm assuming it's nice enough for the reception, could you have the ceremony under a big tree at sunset? Why not take advantage of the beautiful outdoors? Besides, doing the ceremony at the farm would be easier on the budget.
As far as hassle for your guests, it would also be less likely that someone would get lost.
Question: What country is best to get married in? I want to get married on a beach and I know Hawaii is a great place to get married because they have great weather all year around. I want to know what other country can I go to get married and that is affordable? Hawaii airplane ticket is way too expensive! I am looking for a place that can offer hotel services for me and my 6 guests, transportation (if necessary) wedding package etc. Please help. Websites are helpful. Thanks
Answer: Hi again.
You really seem to not know what you want. You really should start with your budget....what can you afford?
If Hawaii is too expensive....so will be going to another country. And not all countries have a beach! Maybe what you meant was....what part of the U.S. is a good location for a wedding on the beach? Here is a link I gave you before:
http://www.beachsidebride.com
Check out gardens in your LOCAL area. I know you say you want something different, but if you simply use Google, you will be able to find lots of alternative locations other than a church, if that is what you want! :)
Almost ANYTHING is feasible for a wedding ceremony and reception. People have weddings at a beach, at a park, in a garden, in a museaum, at a bed and breakfast, at a hotel, at someone's house/backyard, at a historical site, a mansion, a cruise, a lighthouse, a vineyard, a barn, a boat/yacht.
Going to another country is VERY expensive! You also will need to get a passport, which is more $$$. Stay in the U.S. and save your money!
Just search around and see what's out there. Good luck!
Question: Can I Do This? Me and my boyfriend want to get married on the beach of hawaii. I want to have the most10 people with me including me and my fiance. I am not sure where in Hawaii we can go to get married. I have seen some packages online but there are so many to choose from and I am just not sure. Can anyone help? Maybe someone who has gotten married there or knows someone who has married in Hawaii? can you give me websites or recommendations as to where i should go? I am actually looking for a package that can have my airplane ticket included and where me and my guests can fly under a packaged deal for the flight, wedding package, hotel and food if it is at all possible. What time of the year would be the bast time to go?My main reason for going to Hawaii is because I want to do something different and intimate. Please help, any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
Answer: this sounds wonderful.
What you can do is go to Hawaiian airlines and check packages.
Or call or see a travel agent. They can manage the entire thing for you if you are serious.
the weather in Hawaii is beautiful year round so any time is great to go there.
THe hotel you will stay in probably has wedding packages.
It should be easy to arrange.
Your travel agent can be the most help

Question: my boyfriend and i want to elope and get married in new york....? or that was the plan till i saw the wonderful weddings in hawaii. we live in Austria, and just the trip to hawaii is about 3000$ a person, not including hotel or wedding package (which is VERY cheap, round 400$). now, we don't have that kind of money and so this will lead us to the original new york plan. Any suggestion about a romantic wedding in new york for just the 2 of us in december around christmas ? the ticket there will be just arond 600$ so we can spend more on the "wedding".. Thanks!!
Answer: It is inexpensive to get married in New York (getting the license, finding a civil officiant) and you can get married in Central Park, or in your hotel room, or on Brooklyn Bridge, etc. But it is expensive to VISIT New York, and to stay there. IF you can get a hotel/flight deal, that is the best savings. Otherwise, check out some B&Bs, or hotel alternatives. Be careful about ads on Craigslist, etc., as they are sometimes not real - just pictures of apartments, not real listings. We married a nice couple in the parlor of their bed and breakfast, and the host got a nice cake, and champagne, very friendly. But don't say the word "wedding" too often in your hotel, or the staff will get stars in their eyes and start charging for everything. Say "private event", and ask if they have a spare room for an hour, or if you can borrow a penthouse room between clients, etc. Or go to the Top of the Rock (prettier than the Empire State). All that part is easy. You need a witness for your wedding - ask your officiant or your photographer (or your concierge) if they will sign the license. Have a 'bad weather' plan for the ceremony, if your fave outdoor spot is too cold or wet. Buy your flowers from a street deli, take a carriage ride in your wedding dress, have a wedding hot dog at the papaya king, and go to the webcam in Times Square and wave at the folks back home. And if you want a beach, take the F to Coney Island and write your names in the sand. (or, consider Havana!)
Question: Ideas on Babymoons anyone?? ? I want to plan a Babymoon for my bf and I before the baby arrives, but i dont know where? Does anyone have any ideas? I've already looked for the hotels that have the spa and babymoon packages but they are either too far away like Hawaii or Mexico, Has anyone gone on one that was amazing or is planning to go on one too, let me know where you're going and if it's expensive or not, i need ideas.
Answer: I am not sure which state you are in but there is a website called babymoonfinder.com which offers searches for all but 9 of the 50 states and has foreign locations. Hope it helps.
Good Luck.
Question: Flights Search....? What would be the best was to search for multi cities flight search. FIVE Cities. Me and three of my friends are going to fly from England London to NY City and From NY to Orlando Florida and from Florida to Hawaii and from Hawaii to Los Angeles and from Los Angeles back to London. How do I Get the best deals and best packages for the Air fares and Possible Hotels. Please advice....
Answer: First, use a search engine (like google) to look for "discount travel". Some of my favorite travel sites include hotwire, orbitz, travelzoo and priceline. Since you're traveling to multiple cities, call the websites to get better deals. You might also consider joining a travel club which often gives larger discounts (there are several on the Internet). The most important thing to remember is to shop around and take your time. Often some of the best deals are offered in the wee hours. Hope I helped.
Question: Deluxe resorts at Disney World? I am going to Disney World sometime in the next year and when looking at the deluxe hotels I could not decide which one to pick. My party consits of kids aged 9,10,13 and two 15 year olds( all boys). My first instinct was instinct was the Polynesian, because I love Hawaii and the whole Pacific Island motif. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which of the Magic Kingdom resorts on the monorail loop would be the best for our group. Please include recommendations for building as well. Cost is not really an issue. Also, does anyone have any thoughts on the Disney Dining Plan? We are a group of big eaters. Is the requirement to book a package through Disney worth the value of the plan?
Answer: Because of the size of your party, you won't fit into a standard room at any of the Monorail resorts.
If cost is no object, your best bet is two connecting rooms at the Polynesian. The Poly is one of the three most kid-appealing resorts in all of Walt Disney World, the only one of those three on the Magic Kingdom monorail, and is far and away the most convenient WDW resort, as it is the only resort from which you can walk to the Ticket and Transportation center--where you get the epcot monorail.
Stay in Rapa Nui, Tahiti, or Tokelau. These are the newest of the buildings at Poly, have the biggest rooms (470 sf) of any WDW resort, are the only buildings at Poly where you are guaranteed a balcony, and are the closest to the Epcot monorail.
If this is too expensive, see this page for thoughts on large families at Walt Disney World: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-first-family-trip/special-circumstances/special-circumstances-large-families/
The upshot of the page? Your next best choice is a two-bedroom villa at the Villas at WIlderness Lodge, which sleeps 8. Not nearly as convenient as the Poly, but still a wonderful choice.
Yes, you should do the dining plan. You'll save tons of money. See this page on how to eat at Walt Disney World: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-first-family-trip/how-to-eat/
For more thoughts on how to manage your trip, see this page:http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-first-family-trip/
Hope this helps--and have a wonderful trip!!

Answer: I think we have a winner. Poly...... Grand Flordian would be to much for your kids probably my cousins hate it cause its so white and clean and elegant. Contemporary aint that great IMO the only thing great about it is the monorail goes right into it. Good food at the Poly more appeal to different age groups. Great pool and scenery.
You love hawaii so hawaii building it is.
