Question: Where can I find a purikura (sticker picture) booth in Honolulu? We are going to Honolulu next week for vacation. We used to live in Japan and LOVED visiting the Purikura (also called Print Club or sticker pictures) booths in Japan. I would LOVE to find one or more while in Honolulu so we can relive the fun we had with our kids! Thanks so much!
Answer: I don't know if purikura is a brand of sticker pictures...but there are picture sticker booths, its all over the malls. I think theres some at Ward Center. Ward center is pretty big. I think there's one At Ward 16 theatres..by the elevator...across the street of the theatres at Ward Shopping Center. Just walk by the shops until you see one. (Theres only one path). And I bet there are some in arcades. But its pretty much all over the place, because people have fun with them in Hawaii too.
Question: Where's a good place in the Honolulu/Waikiki area to take engagement pictures? We're meeting a lady in town on Saturday to take some engagement pictures but I'm trying to think of a specific place to tell her to meet us that would be nice, without a bunch of tourists walking in the background, etc... Can you guys think of any off the top of your head? Thanks!
Answer: Hi Samantha
There is no where in the Waikiki area to take pictures were someone is not going to walk through it without stopping people from passing you. Have your photographer take you outside of Waikiki for your photos. Many people take their photos at some of the parks, beaches and churches on the island. There are many places so it will depend on what you want and if the photographer is from Hawaii and or has been here for along time and has explored the island or the has knowledge of the island they will be able to take you to some very nice place for your photos.
congradulation, and good luck to you.
Take care and Keep the Faith....PEACE....cya....
Question: Where can I have my Samsung digicam fixed in Honolulu? I’m on vacation and I need my Samsun digicam fixed. If not, I won’t have anymore pictures to bring home with me. Where can I find a Samsung service office in Honolulu?
Answer: Unfortunately, since Francis Camera in Honolulu closed last year, there are no repair shops on island of which I know. All the camera stores will send your camera back to the manufacturer for repair. This obviously does you no good if you are on vacation. I wish I could be of more help.

I think it is a park in front of the Gateway Hotel. But couldn't find any good image for it.
Answer: The person who mentioned the statue of King Kalakaua is correct. This little piece of land is situated right across the street from the Ambassador Hotel at the entrance to Waikiki.
Question: Where in Hawaii is a good place to get family pictures done.? Want to get a family picture and my new borns picture done. Not to sure where to go here in Hawaii. I live near Honolulu.
Answer: I would suggest going to Lani Kai for pictures. It is a great white sand beach with some nice small island for the back ground. The water is also nice and blue due to the white sands and shallow water.
Question: Can anyone recommend a good moving company for a long distance move from New York City to Honolulu, Hawaii? I am moving home to Hawaii this summer and I am trying to find a reputable, reasonably priced moving company that will ship a small amout of items from New York to Hawaii. I would like to hear recommendations from people who have had experience with specific companies or services.
I will only be moving items for one person and there will be no furniture or large items. I estimate that there will be about 4-5 boxes of stuff. It will mostly be clothes and personal items, such as pictures and decorations. Thanks in advance for your help!
Answer: Well to tell you the truth, there aren't any companies that move you directly to Hawaii. I just moved here from North Carolina and My household goods were handled by Three different companies. With the minimal amount of boxes I would suggest shipping via USPS, Fed Ex or UPS. But here in Hawaii the best company to use is Royal Hawaiian Movers. If you contact their office you should be able to get a recommendation to another company that they have an affiliation with like Mayflower. But, If you use a moving company you can expect to be without your items for about 30-45 days. My other idea would be to pack 3-4 LARGE suitcases and pay for the extra baggage when you fly and ship what you cannot fit into the bags, that way you have your more necessary items on hand when you touch down. My move from NC to HI including two cars and a 1200 SF Apartment ran $24,000.00!!! SO pack what you need and leave the extras at home....

Answer: It is spelled "Handley Page" and there is a web page (below) with links to pictures of the three bomber types (the O/100, O400 and V/1500) which they built for use in World War 1.
For World War 2, Handley-Page first built the two-engined Hampden, then the four-engined Halifax which your father must have flown. There are links to pictures of both of these types in the web page too. I hope you enjoy them.
Question: moving to start a family. Honolulu versus Anchorage. and why? my wife, daughter and i want to move to start our lives together in an idyllic place to raise our family. i'm from the West Coast, she's from West Virginia. i've taken her out to the left coast and she loved it. we want a scenic place where the people are very open and receptive to all kinds of people. I've been to Honolulu many years ago, but the closest i got to Anchorage was B.C. i've seen pictures of it and talked to some people that loved it there though. for raising a family, which would you say is better and please give reasons why.
Answer: do u like warm weather or cold weather better?
do u like surfing or snowboarding better?
would you rather die from a shark or a bear??
would you rather be trapped on a island with a volcano or live where there is little civilization if you get too far from a city and then you are stranded and freeze to death?
would you rather drown or freeze to death?
do you want to be tan or cold?
both places are awsome and what your looking for and both would be fun- i would go to Anchorage cuz I LOVE TO SNOWBOARD and cuz everyone goes to hawaii. but you have to ask yourself those questions
