Oahu Weather
Question: How "wet" is Windward Oahu weather in November? Aloha -
We are planning our wedding at Kualoa Ranch, Windward Oahu, in early-mid November. This will be an out-door wedding and we are worried about the weather.... I heard windward side is generally wet compare to dryier Leeward side. How "wet" is it? Anyone who had or attended a wedding at Kualoa in November? Your comments are appreciated!
Answer: Well, having researched a bit about this question, I have found that November is Oahu's 3rd rainiest month, with 72 mm (2.83 inches) of rain average, closely following January as the 2nd rainiest.
There is also the fact that November is the last month in the tropical cyclone season. But I woudn't worry about that. A hurricane hasn't hit Oahu since 1991.
Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement and Good Luck! =D
Question: What is the weather in Oahu in the whole month of October? Ive heard that it rains somewhat, but I was wondering if it gets sunny at all? Or cloudy? Is it tanning weather?
-thanks
Answer: It rains more than in the summer, but that's not saying much since it only rains about 18 inches a year here.
I've been here two Octobers so far and the weather has been fantastic.
You can tan any time of the year here, so don't worry.
Question: I'm leaving for Oahu tomorrow so is it pants or strictly shorts weather through the weekend? I have a short wedding trip to go to and want to make sure I pack appropriately. Is it hot enough to just bring shorts or should I bring some light pants with me too? Thanks.
Answer: check on weather.com, I would bring light pants because you never know. Even though the weather is supposed to be hot you could have a sudden cool change. The light pants don't weigh much and they don't take a lot of space either
Question: What is the weather like on Oahu in first two weeks of April?

Question: What is the weather like in the Middle to late part of November in Oahu? Planning to vacation for a week in November and want it to be enjoyable.
Answer: I love Oahu!
The temperature in Oahu stays approximately the same throughout the year, averaging seventy to eighty five degrees at any given time. However, wind and rain vary with the seasons, so visitors should be aware of standard weather patterns when planning their trips. It should be noted that the geographic design of Oahu makes it such that weather varies greatly in different parts of the city. As a result, visitors experiencing poor weather conditions in one area of Oahu should spend the day in a different area to avoid the problems. Southwest Oahu is usually warmer and drier than Northeast Oahu.
In general, the summer months in Oahu are considered to be the least rainy and the winter months are considered to be the rainiest. The two biggest weather problems tourists should be aware of are tsunamis and hurricanes. Tsunamis are relatively rare and can’t be predicted so visitors can’t plan around them. Hurricanes are generally likely to happen between June and November, although they are also relatively rare.
In terms of having to deal with other tourists, the busy season is from December through March, with the last two weeks of December being the prime time during which many people travel to Oahu. Rates are higher during this busy season and trips must be planned far in advance. In contrast, late spring and early fall are the times of the year during which fewer tourists tend to be in the area, decreasing rates in the area. Attractions remain open and fall visitors can experience the Aloha Festivals popular in the area.
Question: What is the weather like in Oahu, Hawaii like in late March?
Answer: Well weather.com will give you specific information but I live on Oahu.
March is about the cloest we come to winter here. Its going to be windy from periodically and it might rain on you a bit more than usual. But the tempratures are still around 78 to 88, depending on cloud cover.
Question: What interesting to do In Oahu, Hawaii, if weather will be rainy?
Answer: It's pretty rare that it is raining all over the island (last spring was very unusual). Yes, you do get quite a lot of rain in the mountains and on the windward side, but you usually don't have to go far to find a place where it isn't raining. For that matter, most of the time, you can just wait a few minutes for the rain to stop or let up to the point we call it "liquid sunshine".
You could tour the Bishop Museum and Iolani Palace, eat and shop at Maunakea Marketplace in Chinatown, or see a show in Waikiki. Many of the shopping centers are either indoors like Kahala Mall, or open-air but sheltered like Ala Moana.
Question: Going to Oahu, Hi next week, how is the weather their? I have a 3 year old daughter, is a summer dress or short and shirt enough? Do we need light Jackets in the evening? Does it get cold at nights?
Thanks
Answer: Well, cold is a relative term. It has been in the 60's at night lately, occasionally getting into the high 50's. To me, that is cold. I would definitely bring a light weight jacket. It has been in the 70's during the day, but it has been quite breezy & overcast, so it has felt a bit cool. I'm on vacation next week, so I will be hoping right along with you for some better weather.
Question: What is the weather like in Oahu (Hawaii) in early September? Nice, I hope!
Answer: "Nice, I hope!"
No need to hope, because it is really nice :)
Here in Hawaii we dont really have winters or summers. it is always warm. of course ther are some rainy days but they can happen anytime during the year. usually around Feb-March. But September has been always sunny as i remember.
